Marvel Event: Updated As it Goes!

The world probably wasn't quite ready for what Marvel Studios had to say today at a special event in Los Angeles.
While everyone had their own idea of what big news Marvel Studios was going to break today during their special press event, not many were revealed for the full force of what Kevin Feige was prepared to drop on the world.

The presentation opened with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige joking about Hydra ruining their Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer release which was scheduled for tonight before it leaked last Wednesday. Feige then told the crowd they were going to watch the teaser together on the big screen.
After the trailer, Feige thanked the crowd for making Guardians of the Galaxy a huge hit, then brought Joss Whedon out on stage before teasing the crowd by saying he wanted to talk about Phase 3.

Feige revealed a new date for a Marvel film, noting that Doctor Strange would hit theaters November 4, 2016 (this shit from the original July release date is likely to accommodate Benedict Cumberbatch's schedule).

Via a video, director James Gunn told the crowd that the still untitled Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, originally scheduled for July would be May 5, 2017.

Feige revealed the title for the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, and that it would be released July 28, 2017. Feige told the crowd that the title means "the end of all things" for Thor!

November 3, 2017 will see Chadwick Boseman (42, Get On Up) take the screen as T'Challa in Black Panther.

July 6, 2018 will see Carol Danvers hit the screen in a Captain Marvel solo film! Feige was clear that while many people have carried the title, this will be a film about Carol Danvers!

November 2, 2018 will see the release of  Inhumans, one of Marvel's strangest group of characters, join the MCU.

Feige then teased the May 4, 2018 date as a day that would serve as a culmination to all the work Marvel has been doing in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 followed by Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 on May, 3 2019

Feige then brought Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans on stage to wild applause before revealed the title card for Captain America: Civil War!

Then Chadwick Boseman took the stage as Marvel's Black Panther, a rumor we've been on top of for a long time!

Feige closed by telling the crowd that they had "a hell of a lot of work to do.'

What a glorious day to be a nerd!
