The DC Cinematic Universe Gets a Cyborg; Ray Fisher Cast for Batman vs. Superman

Filming for DC/WB's Man of Steel sequel has reportedly begun and, according to Variety, Ray Fisher has joined the cast in the role of Vic Stone, a.k.a. Cyborg.
Fisher's role is reported to be a small one in this film, but he'll clearly become a larger player and a member of the Justice League. In DC's New 52 continuity, Cyborg sort of fills the Justice League role that my generation would associate with Martian Manhunter.

You may recognize Fisher from...nothing. He's a newcomer, but apparently impressed director Zack Snyder enough to land the role. Cyborg, a long time member of the Teen Titans, is the son of S.T.A.R. Labs employees Silas and Elinore Stone and, following an accident at the labs, is infused with some very advanced technology to save his life.

Batman vs. Superman is still on schedule for a May 6, 2015 release.
