Filming began on Avengers: Age of Ultron late last week in Johannesburg, South Africa. While it was reported that no principal actors were on location, that doesn't mean there was no action. Take a look at some set pics and some descriptions of what was seen after the jump.
Yesterday @IrfaanEbrahim over at Twitter posted the first of the set pics below which reportedly come from a scene in which the Hulk is featured. The original descriptions that came via Twitter reported that they had an actor standing in for the Hulk and that it's clearly going to be a CGI scene. At the time, the scene reports made is sound like Dr. Banner had gone to South Africa and, for some reason, lost it and Hulked-out.
Later on, Twitter user @Irfaan Ebrahim added some commentary to the second set pic:
There's also some commentary on Instagram, which I've embedded below, that suggests that this isn't just Hulk going bonkers, but that perhaps it's Hulk in a fight against someone (Ultron?) and that someone is pretty capable of tossing the Hulk around. You can click on the user name in the embed to see the comments for yourself.
While it's going to be really hard to deduce what kind of scene they were actually filming given the likelihood that most of it will be CGI, it's probably not a long shot to guess that this scene features Hulk taking on Ultron. Given that it's widely-speculated that Ultron will visit Wakanda at some point to get his hands on some Vibranium, it's possible that the Hulk is intercepting him before or after the heist. Again, that's 100% pure speculation, but if the Twitter and Instagram users are to be believed, there's going to be a lot of action in this scene and some it is going to feature the Hulk getting whooped.
Another batch of set pics have appeared via Twitter and Instagram:
