RUMOR: 3 Men Enter, 1 Man Leaves...2 More Nightwing Candidates Emerge

Just about this time last night we all found out that Adam Driver, a dude with whom I am completely unfamiliar, was named the front-runner for the role of Dick Grayson/Nightwing in 2015's Batman vs. Superman.  The same report mentioned that 2 other actors were also in the main mix; given the fact that nothing stays secret for long it was only a matter of time before the identity of those 2 guys were revealed too...and now, that time has come. Find out who after the jump...

My man Knight Gambit, who landed the scoop on Rashida Jones as Janet Van Dyne, and his boy Roby D'Attavi, have scored the names of the two other men in the mix to portray the former Boy Wonder: Penn Badgley and Ezra Miller.  Both of these 2 dudes, like Adam Driver, have a distinct look, and that seems to be just what the folks at DC/WB are going for.  As with Driver, I honestly couldn't pick these 2 dudes out in a 3-man line-up; however, given the look of the men they are pursuing to play Nightwing, I'm starting to feel I may have a shot.

While I don't know who Penn Badgley is, I can find out he's been on Gossip Girl, and I do know what that is.  Apparently, WB is hot after Badgley to stay in house given the fact that he is a know quantity.  To be entirely honest and shallow, judging a book solely by its cover, this guy should be the choice, if, in fact, there are only 3 choices.

Ezra Miller, apparently, starred alongside Emma Watson in The Perks of Being A Wallflower.  This guy should be the choice for Nightwing if the studio wants to portray Grayson as a recovering heroin addict/hipster wannabe.

While I am in no position to argue with Hollywood, I don't picture any of these dudes as Dick Grayson.  To be funny for a minute, which I almost never do (I'm making my serious face right now), I figured Matt Damon would land the role of Nightwing. I suppose they are going for an Igor to Affleck's Dr. Frankenstein.  Whatever long as Nighwing busts chops, I'll be down.

What do you guys think about the 3 front-runners for what should be a badass role as Nightwing?
