Miles Teller Talks Fantastic Four Reboot Rumors

Casting rumors have been swirling around director Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot for the past few weeks now.  One of the actors rumored to be in contention for the role of Reed Richards is Miles Teller (Footloose).  Teller talked about the rumors, and more, in an interview with Fandango.

Fandango caught up with Teller at the Savannah Film Festival and after talking to him about his upcoming film, Divergent, they asked Teller what his upcoming scheduled was going to be.  Teller replied, "Right now I'm kind of hanging out. I don't have anything that I'm doing until probably January or February. I don't know 100%. Obviously Insurgent, the next Divergent film...I think they are going to start the second one in April.  Given that the Fantastic Four reboot might be filming at the same time, Fandango asked about Teller's possible role in the superhero film: "Uh, you know, I don't know," replied Teller. "If that happens, if everything works out, then I will be pretty pumped. But then I'll also be working's like seven months out of your year. Which is not a bad problem."

First of all, must be rough to be an actor and feel that working 7 months out of the year is stressful.  Only teachers have it easier!  Secondly, it certainly sounds like Teller has auditioned for the role, as rumored, and would love the part. I imagine that most young actors would love to land a role in a comic book movie at this point.

What are your thoughts on Teller as Mr. Fantastic?  Does he scream Reed Richards to you?
