Marvel President Kevin Feige Reveals Studio Has Its Slate Planned Through 2017

Kevin Feige made quite a few newsworthy statements last night during his Thor: The Dark World UK press conference.  In addition to his discussion about the studio's plans for Daredevil and The Punisher, Feige revealed that Marvel has decided which films will fill the 3 open slots they've reserved for Phase 3 movies.  Before you get TOO excited, Feige did not reveal which films they would be, just that the studio has, apparently, chosen the films.  When asked during the presser about the cohesiveness of the MCU films, Feige replied, "We're a very tight-knit group at the studio, so all the movies are very, very coordinated."  He went on to add, "And we have them announced through the end of 2015, but are planning as far out as 2017. And sometime next year, we'll announce what those films are for '16 and '17."

In August of this year, Feige, in an interview with Empire Magazine, said the following about Marvel's future film slate:
“Next spring is when we really sit down and start to decide what we announce for 2016 and 2017,” he stated. “There are three or four slots. We’ve got six or seven things going. We’ve got to choose which four will go. It’s a Battle Royale!”

Assuming that Marvel's Phase 3 will have either 5 or 6 total films, including the third Avengers film at the end of the Phase, this means that they have probably cemented which 3 or 4 films will be sandwiched between Ant-Man and Avengers 3.  Marvel currently has May 6, 2016, July 8, 2016 and May 5, 2017 pegged as release dates for untitled Phase 3 films.  That's not to say they couldn't add another date or move dates around, as they have done often in the past.  Plenty of options exist for Marvel and there are are several films that have been in some form of development for years while others are rumored to be strong favorites.

What are your guesses as to which films will join Edgar Wright's Ant-Man in the lead up to another Avengers film?
