It's Official: Aaron Taylor-Johnson Signs on for Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron

In news that we've pretty much known was coming for quite some time now, The Wrap, in an exclusive, is reporting that Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Savages) has inked a deal to portray mutant speedster Quicksilver in Joss Whedon's upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Johnson has LONG been rumored to be the front-runner, if not the only-runner, for the role of Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver but had some hurdles to clear concerning the publicity end of his next film, Godzilla, in which he stars, ironically, as the husband of Elizabeth Olsen, who will be playing his twin sister Wanda Maximoff in Age of Ultron.  It seems that all the obstacles are out of the way and Johnson, who has seemed very excited about the role in the past, will play the silver speedster for Marvel.  Marvel declined comment on the signing and will probably wait for an official announcement on their site to discuss it.

I'm on record as loving Johnson for the part.  The only question I have surrounds the terms of his contract: I'm curious to know if it is a one picture deal or a multi-picture deal.  I have said in the past that Quicksilver could provide an easy bridge to the eventual Inhumans film given his comic book ties to the group.  What are your thoughts?
